Riverview teachers are passionate for teaching young children and, on a daily basis, intentionally provide many opportunities for joyful discovery and building a kind world.

OUR PRESCHOOL TEACHERS

Riverview Nursery School has 11 teachers and 3 staff who collectively share over 227 years of early childhood experience.  Teacher educational backgrounds include Child Development Associates certification, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education.

With other degrees, preschool experience, and life experience, our teachers enrich Riverview’s early childhood program, working closely together with one another and with each family unit.

RNS teachers share a common love and understanding of young children as highlighted in the National Association for the Education of Young Children's best practices for early childhood development.

All Riverview staff are certified in Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED.  Lead teachers and Director are New York State MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified, permitting medication administration to children with allergies, asthma, etc.  Our teachers complete NYS Office of Children and Family Services required ongoing training in 9 domain areas.

OUR DIRECTOR
