Riverview Nursery School has provided quality, early childhood education to the Nyack, NY community since 1991.
We are collecting warm socks for residents at Tolstoy Foundation Nursing Home in Valley Cottage.
Socks must be new and unworn. Preferably they should be easy to slip on. They should also be non-slip (with the grips).
We will be delivering at the beginning of February so if you wish to make little cards for Valentines to accompany the cards that would be wonderful!
October 23rd - November 10th we are collecting much needed donations to support Soup Angels of Nyack. Soup Angels provides a meal service for anyone in need in our community.

We were able to collect gently used toys to support families at Proyecto Faro and One 2 One Learning at Marydell. We thank everyone for their generous donations and the parent volunteers who helped to transport the toys to the projects!
This month we are focusing on a local concern: Animal Nation.

Teachers now have sign up sheets outside the classrooms for parents. This is a wonderful opportunity to share with your child’s teacher their progress and celebrate their year to date.

We are now collecting new or gently used Coats, Hats, Gloves and Socks for adults, teens and children.
Donations are being collected in the Entrance Hall and will be ongoing until December 15th.

The Fire Fighters are coming to visit us here at Riverview this week with their shiny Fire Truck. Thank you to Fire Chief Dana Mickle and all the Fire Fighters we will meet!
Fire Prevention Week is an annual event at RNS as we share with our children how to keep safe.
Sharing stories is core to developing language, furthering imagination, and a wonderful way to bond with your child.
During Riverview’s Book Week children can enjoy books and help us expand our Book Library here at Riverview from our Book Stand.
The Book Stand will be open at Drop Off and Pick Up daily and families can purchase a pre-selected choice of books to enjoy at home before returning to school. Books will then be labeled with your child’s name and will be added to our school library creating a long legacy for future book readers.
