Sights, sounds, smells, taste and touch! Our lovely village of Nyack and the nearby surrounding towns offer amazing opportunities for our children to explore and experience their community beyond the classroom, together.

CLASS TRIP & SPECIAL EVENTS

CLASS TRIPS  Riverview arranges outings for 3 and 4 year old children to take advantage of our surrounding community.  We take short walking trips for this age and also travel further by car with 4 year olds.  Parents are notified in advance of all excursions, and asked to help supervise walking trips or provide transportation.  Children travel in car seats/booster seats as required by state law.  Parents must provide a safety seat for children and sign the Permission Slip for their child to participate in the field trip.

SPECIAL EVENTS  These vary from year to year, but have included Thanksgiving Friendship Soup, Be Our Guest Day, Mother’s Tea, Book Week donations, and family potluck dinners.
